Counseling for professional and retired adults  to support positive change and growth.

Sara Nash Counseling Client Session

I specialize in helping individuals and couples heal from trauma and loss, improve relationships, recover from depression, anxiety, and addiction, and make sustainable life changes. I have worked extensively with accomplished and motivated people who are nonetheless experiencing crisis, pain, and distress.

Counseling is a path we travel together. During our sessions, we give compassionate attention to what hurts and what needs healing in yourself and your surrounding environment. We appreciate how you arrived where you are and discover what will help you embark on your direction of growth again.

I'm dedicated to providing you with the tools and support to help you move forward.

  Let's get started.

Can you relate to any of the following statements?

Sara Nash Counseling Logo
  • On the outside you’ve achieved plenty, but on the inside you’re feeling stuck, scared, or disconnected.

  • You want something more from your life or your relationships, but you’re not sure how to get it.

  • You’re frustrated with yourself for repeating old patterns that comfort you in the moment but ultimately cause problems.

  • You’re getting older and realizing that time is not infinite. If you’re going to make certain changes, now is the time.

  • You’re motivated, but you could use a trusted professional to encourage, guide, and support you.

If 'YES', then you are in the right spot.

"After my soulmate died, continuing to exist without him felt impossible. When I tried to get help, the first few therapists I tried made me feel like a liability instead of a human as soon as I mentioned suicide.  Then I walked into Sara’s office and I finally felt understood. There was nothing cookie-cutter about her practice. As my needs changed, our sessions changed. We did so many different things: having a memorial service, making a suicide prevention plan, talking, making art, and even playing in a little sandbox. This loss still hurts, but Sara helped me learn to feel the good beyond the pain in a way that felt impossible when I first stepped into her office.  I honestly believe that she saved my life."
